Responsibilities: - At Qualcomm, the Modem Systems team has played a key role in shaping technologies from CDMA and 3G to LTE, LTE‑Advanced, and 5G NR.
- Today, the team continues to lead innovation across 5G NR (Sub 6 and mmWave), NTN, IoT, URLLC, and early 6G research, taking ideas from concept to large‑scale commercial deployment.
- This role offers opportunities to work across modem architecture, PHY algorithm design, RF and baseband interaction, system simulations, and standardization‑driven system studies.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

- MTech with up to 5 years of relevant industry experience
- PhD with up to 3 years of industry or applied research experience
- Open to strong industry profiles and fresh PhD candidates with relevant research focus
