About the role

We are looking for candidates to join the Treasury function within our Financial Research group in Hyderabad or Bengaluru. The team is responsible for structuring the optimal financing of our investment portfolios, maintaining the firm’s financing relationships, managing fund capital usage, and reducing non-market risks. As a member of the team, you will gain direct exposure to financial analytics and model-building, while collaborating closely with investment and technology teams, as well as external counterparties.

Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will work alongside the global Treasury team to deliver complex analytics and financial modeling projects.
- You will analyze large volumes and trends in historical and real-time data related to trades, positions, exposures, financing accruals, and margin requirements.
- As part of this work, you will build, enhance, and maintain Excel and Python-based models and analytical tools to support financing optimization, stress-scenario analysis, and pricing negotiations.
- You will also perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of model outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Additionally, you will develop dashboards and data visualization panels using proprietary and commonly used analytical frameworks.
- You will contribute to regulatory scenario analysis, including constructing sample portfolios and comparing outcomes under varying assumptions.
- In parallel, you will also support day-to-day Treasury workflows—such as securities lending, cash management, alternative funding facilities, monitoring Uncleared Margin Rules and debit agreements, and counterparty risk monitoring – while collaborating closely with technology and other Financial Research teams to streamline data sourcing, reporting, and workflow automation.

Qualifications:
- An MBA/CFA with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience demonstrating robust analytical, problem-solving, and research capabilities, including the ability to manage and interpret large datasets
- Experience in developing and independently maintaining business-critical analytical models
- Excellent data visualization skills using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, or proprietary/foundation platform
- A deep interest in reading and interpreting market literature and regulatory documentation, and applying these insights to design calculators and optimizations that guide financing strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document and present quantitative insights to a range of stake holders
- The ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments
- Familiarity with data modelling and programming (e.g.,Python or R), including any experience in developing analytical tools in Jupyter or similar environments
- Excellent understanding of Treasury operations, FX hedging, liquidity risk, and investment cash flows
