About the role

We are looking for a technically sharp and innovation-driven Senior SDET who thrives in a fast-paced, agile development environment. The ideal candidate is someone who not only executes test automation with precision but also brings creative thinking, builds POCs (Proofs of Concept), and continuously pushes boundaries to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities: Quickly onboard and contribute to Agile sprints through both manual and automated testing. Independently drive POCs for new tools, frameworks, or testing approaches and evaluate their impact. Apply creative testing techniques to uncover edge cases and ensure high-quality user experiences. Design and develop robust, maintainable, and scalable test automation frameworks using Python (PyTest, Selenium – python based) and Playwright. Understand complex customer workflows and validate solutions accordingly. Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and maintain testing infrastructure. Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating emerging technologies and integrating best practices into the QA process. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and mentor other QA engineers on innovative testing strategies and automation skills. Qualifications: Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience or Master's degree with 3 years of experience or new grad with PhD Proven experience in designing POCs and driving innovative QA solutions. Strong coding skills in Python and experience with PyTest, Selenium- python based (Knowledge of Playwright will be added weightage). Hands-on experience in UI and API automation for web-based applications, preferably Cloud Native API testing in AWS, Azure or GCP. Solid understanding of testing methodologies (manual and automation). Experience writing and maintaining detailed test plans, cases, and documentation Proficiency with CI/CD tools and integrating test automation into pipelines. Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, and IDEs like PyCharm. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional and Agile team Preferred Qualifications Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure or GCP. Experience in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain. Passion for innovation, automation at scale, and continuous quality improvement.
