- We are seeking an experienced hands-on, senior leader as a Director of Software Engineering to join us to take our growth engineering strategy to the next level.
- This technology leader should have a proven track record of designing and building large-scale distributed systems preferably with a background in the E-commerce space, and be an active contributor towards product vision and development.
- You will be a team leader who will lead the development for improving Rocket Growth's scalability, reliability, availability, extensibility, and performance.
- As we continue to scale and innovate, you will be working in a fast-paced environment along with a team of smart and passionate global engineers to design and implement various systems to meet the needs of the Rocket Growth business.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of experience.
- At least 10+ years of experience leading a software development team through multiple product / platform releases.
- Experience mentoring junior software engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective software engineers
- Experience building and operating distributed systems that are highly available.
- Professional coding experience using modern programming language such as Java, Scala, Kotlin, C++, C#, etc.; strong object-oriented design and algorithmic analysis background.
- Deep experience building high quality software with the Agile processes: Software design, code reviews, QA process.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- A visionary / thought leader who has driven product ideas to successful releases A manager of managers with passion for people management and mentorship to grow them.
