- In your role as the software development manager (SDM), you will be leading a team of best-in-class engineers dedicated to projects aimed at enhancing customer experience.

- As a SDM, you will also lead the future of a system that can fulfill computing needs based on a distributed system, high scalability, low latency and high availability.
- Your other duties will include standardising processes, tracking indices, and providing feedback regarding the system domains.
- As an engineering leader, you will be expected to demonstrate technical leadership that can help solve complicated issues and achieve a balance between strategies and tactics.

- As the SDM, you will:
- manage an agile team of professional developers dedicated to building a scalable, stable, and manageable system;
- recruit and hire developers to in line with the team’s goals;
- assist each team member with career-building through 1:1 evaluation and counseling sessions;
- define the system architecture with other developers;
- understand and prioritise requirements; collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to establish a roadmap and execute plans;
- define, measure, and report indices;
- Support the team’s software implementation and operation;
- lead improvements in development and management support;
- lead standardisation of and improvements in business processes.
