About the role
We are eligibility team. We calculate eligibility of an item in a fulfilment centre/store, Cash back, rewards, substitution, Compliance and Geo restriction.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the design, development, and deployment of high-performance, scalable, and resilient back-end services.
- Take full ownership of the development lifecycle, from initial design and prototyping to production deployment and monitoring.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the stability and availability of our critical systems.
Qualifications:
- Professional experience in back-end development with a strong command of Java.
- Deep expertise in designing and building distributed systems at high scale.
- Proven experience with message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), distributed caching (e.g., Redis, Memcached), and designing robust failover and disaster recovery strategies.
- Extensive exposure to microservices architecture and cloud-native principles.
- A strong product mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and influence technical leaders.
