- Edge Load Balancers is a team within Traffic Foundation that focuses on operating and enhancing multiple massive clusters of WAFs, reverse proxies and load-balancers in our private and public clouds.
- What will you do
- As an engineer in the Edge Ingress team, you will be responsible to do the following:
- Lead the design, planning and implementation of WAF and Load Balancer technologies utilizing best practices of load-balancing and client security
- Act as a SRE to troubleshoot operational problems at the network, host, and application levels.
- Automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using IaC (Infrastructure-as-code) tooling
- Build tooling to provide monitoring and alerting for key systems and provide automated and manual issue mitigation solutions
- What will you bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Mathematics or 5 years of applicable industry experience
- A familiarity with Linux or UNIX systems engineering Interactive and scripted bash power-user
