About the role
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Core Java, backend service development, SQL, REST APIs, and cloud-native technologies. In addition to building production-grade backend services, you will contribute to engineering excellence by developing robust automated tests and enhancing test automation frameworks as part of the software development lifecycle. Experience with AI-assisted development tools is highly desirable. Required Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 4+ years of professional software development experience with a minimum of 5 years in Java development. Strong expertise in Core Java and object-oriented programming principles. Solid understanding of SQL, including database development and stored procedures. Experience building Java backend services and REST APIs. Strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience writing automated tests using JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest. Experience debugging and troubleshooting multithreaded applications. Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and automated build pipelines. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.
