Responsibilities
- As a member of the software engineering division, you will work in a highly-collaborative team in building new features for File Storage Service.

- You should be able to architect broad systems interactions, while being very hands-on, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and lower level system interactions.
- You will apply intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.
- Design, implement, and optimize components in distributed systems with an emphasis on scalability, resiliency, and operability.
- Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
- Build fault-tolerant paths and apply recovery‑oriented principles.
- Proactively detect and mitigate issues via tests, alarms, dashboards, and telemetry; author runbooks and participate in incident response and RCAs.
- Develops automation for troubleshooting and maintenance, and apply advanced security controls (encryption, access, remediation) while ensuring change, compliance, and documentation standards are met.
