About the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Design, develop and deliver technical UI/Backend components for the solution.
- Work with Business Analysists/Stake Holders to implement the technical requirements and deliver the product on time
- Hands on Java and Spring framework with strong focus on application development and performance tuning to ensure acceptable application processing rates.
- Follow best practices of development which includes writing unit test cases, optimized, reliable and maintainable code.
- Willing to learn and work on new technologies as required to deliver the client requirements
- Should learn to understand the importance of automation and focus on implementing in the development and execution process.
- Work experience as a Fullstack Developer with Core Java, Spring framework (Spring Boot & Spring Batch), RESTful API Services and Angular
- Experience in writing test cases and Unix Shell scripts
- Good Knowledge in Relational databases and SQL
- Problem-solving abilities
- Eager to learn new technologies in Big Data Space (Hive, Impala, Spark Sql, Scala etc).
- Any cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google/Oracle).
- Understanding of Big Data Technologies, Cloudera, Spark
- Hands on Java
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Very Good communication and organizational skills
- A strong team player

- Experience in Maven, GitLab, SonarQube
