About the role

Responsibilities:
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Development Manager to lead a team of 8–10 engineers working on next-generation platform capabilities within Coupang’s transportation ecosystem.
- This role will focus on re-architecting systems for global use cases, enabling scalable and standardized solutions across regions.
- You will lead one of the key initiatives in rebuilding foundational platform services, driving both technical direction and team development.
- The platform operates at massive scale, supporting tens of millions of transactions daily and impacting every shipment processed within Coupang’s ecosystem.
- You will have the opportunity to:

- Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms (Kafka, Flink, or Spark)
- Track record of delivering large-scale, high-reliability platforms on time
- Strong communication skills — ability to translate between business stakeholders and engineering teams
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working on large-scale distributed or event-driven systems
- Prior experience in e-commerce, transportation, logistics, or platform engineering domains
- Experience building or re-architecting systems for global scalability
- Strong track record of driving cross-team initiatives in fast-paced environments
