Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a visionary Principal Software Development Engineer to join our Frontend Engineering team and lead the design, development, and evolution of world-class web applications.
- Reporting to the Manager of Software Development Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Zscaler’s next-generation user interfaces.

- Architect & Deliver: Design and build high-quality ReactJS solutions, specializing in translating complex UI/UX designs into robust, production-ready applications while providing technical mentorship to foster a culture of innovation
- Drive Engineering Excellence: Shape and evolve Zscaler’s core design system.
- Champion frontend best practices, including modularity, semantic code, comprehensive automated testing, and deep performance tuning

- Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in ReactJS development using TypeScript, ES6+, and advanced state management paradigms
- Data Visualizations: Proven experience building highly complex UIs, data-heavy dashboards, and advanced data visualizations (e.g., D3.js)
- Testing Excellence: Deep expertise in developing extensive unit, integration, and E2E testing suites using frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, or Cypress
- Enterprise Architecture: Proven track record of designing and deploying large-scale enterprise UIs emphasizing high availability, performance, and a seamless global user experience
