Responsibilities: - Microservices Design & Development
- Design and develop scalable, cloud-native microservices using Java (17/21)
- and the Spring Boot framework.
- Utilize the Helix Platform to build, package, and deploy standalone components, reusable blueprints, and serverless Knative Functions
- Ensure clean code architecture, adhering to enterprise design patterns, SOLID principles, and RESTful API standards.
- Cloud Orchestration & Service Mesh
- Deploy, manage, and scale microservices on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
- and Kubernetes.
- Configure and manage service-to-service communication, traffic routing, and observability using Service Mesh
- (Istio-based control plane).
- Define and maintain Helm charts for consistent, repeatable application deployments across environments.
- Database Integration & Management
- Integrate microservices with Citi's
- Database as a Service (DBaaS)
- platform.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases, including:
- PostgreSQL as a Service (PGaaS)
- (utilizing PG Vector for advanced search capabilities).
- MongoDB as a Service (MaaS)

Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Java Expertise: 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java (17 or higher)

- Strong experience with Docker Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift (OCP)
- Service Mesh: Hands-on experience with Istio or equivalent Service Mesh technologies for traffic management and observability.
- Database Systems: Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL MongoDB and Oracle Security: with HashiCorp Vault
